OUR HISTORY

THE TOWING & RECOVERY ASSOCIATION of ALBERTA is a non-profit society established in 2017 by a group of industry stakeholders who recognized the benefits of a body to advocate for and professionalize through consistent training, networking and communication with legislators, law enforcement and the motoring public.  It is the voice of the towing and recovery industry in The Province of Alberta.

The core values of the association revolve around partnership with a mission to facilitate, promote and encourage strong relationships and dialogue among all industry professionals, government agencies, law enforcement and members of the public.  The work of the association will enhance the image of the towing and recovery industry through effective communication with the motoring public and the media.

The association offers its members a forum to share ideas, lobby and work with government agencies to provide Albertans with the delivery of services through the highest level of professionalism.  It will also provide for a safer working environment for its members, their employees and the motoring public.
